Southwest Insert Recycling
At Southwest Insert Recycling (SWIR), we use a natural gas-fired heat cleaning incinerator to remove rubber for the purpose of reclaiming the metal parts within. This process is a more cost-effective approach than purchasing all new units.
Each burn cycle consists of a carefully measured load specifically oriented to allow for efficient burn time and temperature control. A chart recorder is used to ensure quality control by allowing temperatures to be closely monitored.
Once the elastomers are removed, our reclaim process is finished with a cleaning check to ensure the reclaimed metal is ready to be returned to the customer.
How can we help?
